Exchange Day Celebration

Join ISSS to celebrate the power of cultural exchange programs. You will have the opportunity to meet other J-1 Exchange Visitors, serve the community by bringing non-perishable food items to donate to a local food pantry, and the opportunity to share what being a part of an exchange program means to you! Free appetizers available while supplies last. 

This event is open to J-1 Exchange Visitors at UNC Chapel Hill. This event is casual in nature so you are able to come and go as your schedule allows. We will have a space reserved at Top of Hill located at 100 E Franklin St.

What is Exchange Day? Exchange Day is a worldwide celebration of the power of international exchange. International exchange participants and community stakeholders can come together to “eat, play, and give” — to share cultural diversity and American customs, to give back to their communities, and to have some fun. Exchange Day is also an opportunity to raise awareness of international exchange programs and spread the word about the power and breadth of cultural exchange.
