Join ISSS for a sweet treat at 3:30pm on September 15th. You will have the chance to meet the ISSS staff team, and meet other new/returning international students and scholars. Dairy-Free options will be provided!

Join ISSS and other students, scholars and family members for a hike through Battle Park. We will meet in the FedEx GEC Atrium at 1pm and walk to Battle Park together. Trail mix will be provided. Wear comfortable shoes, bring layers to keep you warm in the cold weather. We hope to see you there!

Join ISSS and other international students who are in Chapel Hill over break for a game night. We will provide snacks while supplies last, bring a game if you would like to teach others how to play. You can join for the full two hours, or come and go as your schedule allows. Please RSVP so we can ensure enough snacks are provided for all dietary needs. RSVP here

Join ISSS and HAPPEE NAT'L to take a break from studying and enjoy petting two dogs. We will meet on the patio of the FedEx GEC. You can join for the full hour or come as your schedule allows. The dogs are scheduled to be on campus until 3pm, but they may stay an extra hour to continue the de-stress process.

Join ISSS and other students and scholars for a campus walk as finals week comes to an end. We encourage you to join us for a study break or to celebrate the end of finals. We will be walking around campus to get our bodies moving after a long week of sitting and studying. We will meet in the FedEx GEC Atrium at Noon for the walk.

Join the Writing Center and ISSS for the final speaking group of the semester. We will be meeting on the first floor of the FedEx GEC. Don't forget to sign up for speaking group emails, you will receive a weekly email with a reminder of the meeting location and discussion topic. You can register for emails here. Will you in Chapel Hill during winter break? Join other students and scholars that will be on campus to socialize, play card games, and meet new people. Join us as your schedule allows before the semi-final match on December 13th. We hope to see you there!
