Employment Authorization Workshop:

These regularly scheduled workshops provide an overview of on-campus employment, OPT, CPT, STEM extensions and other topics about working on and off campus with F-1 student status. They are designed as an overview to cover the basic types of work authorization and how to apply for them. Students of all levels and degree program are encouraged to apply if they are considering working during their time as a student at UNC or after graduation. Don’t wait until the last minute to find out about your options; it may be too late! If students have specific or personal questions about their situation or wish to turn in an application, they should make an appointment with a student advisor or come during walk-in hours.
