International Scholars Discussion Forum and Coffee Hour with Michael Cotter

Join us for a discussion with Michael Cotter former US Foreign Services Officer who has served in Vietnam, Bolivia, Ecuador, Turkey, Zaire, Chile, Turkmenistan and Washington, D.C.
Dr. Cotter holds degrees from Georgetown University and Stanford University and a Law degree (JD) from the University of Michigan. He will discuss his 30- year career and experiences in the US Foreign Service. He lives in Chapel Hill with wife Joanne, also a long time Foreign Service Officer.
Dr. Don Stedman, Emeritus Dean of the UNCCH School of Education, former Vice President for Research and Public Service Programs of the UNC System and Immediate Past President of the UNC Retired Faculty Association will introduce Michael Cotter and moderate the discussion.
