2014 FIFA World Cup: United States vs. Germany

Take a break on June 26 from 12 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. to watch the United States play Germany in the 2014 FIFA World Cup. The World Cup’s history spans over 80 years and has since become a widely anticipated international tournament that occurs every 4 years. The tournament unites people from around the world as they show support for their countries, favorite national teams, and their love for the game. Whether you are rooting for the United States or Germany, let’s come together and cheer on the teams with our Tar Heel spirit.
The screening will take place on the 4th floor of the FedEx Global Education Center. A light lunch will be served so please RSVP to Ingrid Smith, manager of global events and exhibitions, by June 22, 2014.
