The purpose for virtual drop in hours is to give students a chance to get answers to quick questions. If your question is complex or takes longer than a few minutes to answer, please schedule an appointment with your ISSS adviser directly.
Hours for Spring 2025:
The schedule is as follows during the Spring 2025 Semester, starting on Monday, January 13, 2025 and ending Thursday, May 8, 2025 (excluding University Holidays and official school breaks):
- Monday: 2PM-4PM
- Tuesday: 12PM-2PM
- Wednesday: 12PM-2PM
- Thursday: 2PM-4PM
Note: Non-Degree/Exchange students will have drop-in hours with Nicole Cobb on Wednesdays from 10am-12pm at this Zoom link.
How to Join
Students will only be admitted from the waiting room if they have completed the sign-in listed below. Advisors will admit students in the order in which they complete the sign in. PLEASE DO NOT SIGN IN MORE THAN 5 MINUTES PRIOR TO THE START OF THE DROP-IN HOURS.
To access virtual drop-in hours please follow the process here:
- Complete the sign-in via the ISSS Portal using your PID OR UNC email address.
- Select “Virtual Student Advising Drop-In” as the reason for visit.
- Log into Zoom using your UNC account (You do not have to wait for an invitation to join. Please join the zoom once you have signed in via the ISSS Portal).
