Per the message sent out on March 17, 2020, the University began reducing operations on campus. As of June 11, 2020, the University continues to operate under these guidelines. ISSS advisors are not yet offering in-person services but will remain available via email and will continue to offer advising and process requests remotely via Zoom. Students can contact their International Student Advisor directly based on their program of study or email ISSS at email@example.com.
ISSS will continue to contact students through their UNC email, so students should monitor their UNC email account.
Sudden changes occurring both locally and abroad can add another dimension of stress and uncertainty. Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) will continue to be available for students who are located within the U.S. via the CAPS 24/7 line at +1 919-966-3658. CAPS is also available to students who initiated services before leaving the U.S. or who are in need in crisis support; otherwise, students should seek support in their home country.
