U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will now have two ways for Visa Waiver Program travelers to check the status of their stay.  There will be a new feature added to the I-94 website under the “View Compliance” tab, which will allow travelers on the Visa Waiver program to check the number of days left on their lawful admission.

In addition, an email will be sent by CBP 10-days before the expiration of the visitor’s end date on his/her I-94 and will be sent from Staycompliance-donotreply@cbp.dhs.gov. CBP warns that any email message from any other address may be fraudulent or part of a scam. CBP should use the email address provided by the traveler when he or she registered in ESTA.
